Chelsea convince Nemanja Matic to snub Juventus interest

Antonio Conte has managed to convince Nemanja Matic to snub interest from Juventus and remain at Chelsea, according to reports in Italy. 

According to reports in Italy, the Serbia international has been talked into staying at Stamford Bridge by former Juventus manager Conte. 

Matic was initially open to the prospect of a move to the Serie A champions as Juventus look to replace Manchester United signing Paul Pogba. 

However, the Italian media outlet state that Juventus have given up hope of signing the defensive midfielder unless Matic has an unforeseen change of heart. 

The midfielder was part of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side that won the Premier League title and the League Cup in 2014/15.
