Premier League Champions Leicester City submit £23m bid for Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa

Leicester City have submitted a £23million bid for Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol. 

The 19-year-old is taking part in the Olympics with Brazil and also has interest from Inter Milan, Juventus and Barcelona. 

The Premier League Champions have also asked about Deportivo's Lucas Perez as they brace themselves for last ditch offers for Riyad Mahrez. 

And in a bid to strengthen his ranks as they aim to retain their Premier League crown, Claudio Ranieri has pressed ahead with a move for the Brazilian. 

However,should Gabigol arrive at the Premier League champions, he'll bolster an already-impressive strike force at the King Power.
