Sunderland defender Lamine Kone wants new deal after club reject £18million Everton offer

Lamine Kone wants a new contract at Sunderland if they will not let him join Everton. 

Everton tabled an £18million bid for Kone and want him and Ashley Williams to fill the defensive void left by John Stones . 

But Sunderland boss David Moyes is reluctant to sell the Ivory Coast centre-half untill he secures a replacement. 

Kone was training with Sunderland today and his agent Mark McKay has challenged the Wearsiders to reward him with a new deal if they are going to keep him.
