Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris out for four weeks

Frane International Hugo Lloris is a major doubt for Tottenham's first game on their return to the Champions League next month after it was confirmed he will be out for around four weeks with a hamstring injury. 

Hugo Lloris was replaced by Dutch stopper Michel Vorm after 35 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Everton on Saturday. 

Tottenham medical staff have set an initial prognosis of four weeks before manager Mauricio Pochettino can select his first-choice keeper again. 

The goalkeeper will miss upcoming fixtures against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, while France will also be forced to do without Lloris during the upcoming international period. 

He then faces a battle to be fit for the return of Premier League action against Stoke on September 10 and the launch of Tottenham's Champions League campaign in the week that follows.
