Yaya Toure has become the latest high-profile victim of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City revolution.
The Ivorian did not travel to Romania with City's squad for tomorrow's Champions League first leg qualifier against Steaua Bucharest.
Yaya, who is not injured, was left out of the City squad for their 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday and clearly is not part of Guardiola's plans.
The midfielder's axing comes just two days after first-choice goalkeeper Joe Hart was dropped by Guardiola in favour of Willy Caballero, with City ready to offload the England No.1.
Toure has one year left on a £250,000-a-week contract and City are likely find it hard to move on the 33-year-old with such huge wage demands.
