Photos: Arsenal players all smiles as they train ahead of EFL Cup trip to Nottingham Forest

Arsenal geared up for their first game in this season's EFL Cup against Nottingham Forest with a competitive training session at their London Colney base. 

Having dispatched of Hull City with ease on Saturday, the Gunners face a reunion with former striker Nicklas Bendtner when they travel to the City Ground on Tuesday night.

And Arsenal's players showed they were looking forward to the challenge as they enjoyed a light-hearted session at their training base. 

After failing to win either of their first two Premier League games of the season, a 4-3 defeat by Liverpool and a goalless draw at Leicester, the Gunners are unbeaten in their last four. 

Arsene Wenger's side have won their last three against Watford, Southampton and Hull, and began their Champions League campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at PSG last week.
