Arsenal have received a double fitness boost in the form of Lucas Perez and Francis Coquelin as the duo have returned to training.
The players have returned to full training and are expected to be available for Saturday’s clash against Swansea City according to reports.
Coquelin suffered a knee injury in the 3-0 win against Chelsea last month and was expected to be out for several months.
However, the midfielder recovered ahead of schedule and will be available to feature in the upcoming match.
With Granit Xhaka moulding well into his role alongside Santi Cazorla, Coquelin might not get a starting role against Swansea but Wenger will have the option to play him as a substitute.
Similarly, Lucas Perez who sustained a knee injury during training and missed out on Arsenal’s match against Burnley has also recovered and joined the squad at the London Colney training ground.
