Inter Milan battle Manchester United for Arana

Inter Milan have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Corinthians full-back Guilherme Arana, according to Fox Sports Brazil. 

The 19-year-old helped Corinthians lift the Brasileiro title in 2015 during his first senior season with the club, and his form there and for Brazil's Under-20 side has alerted European clubs to his ability. 

Corinthians are currently suffering from financial problems and may be willing to cash in on their 40 per cent share of the defender, with Elenko Sports owning the remainder of his rights. 

Arana's agent Fernando Garcia has confirmed Inter's interest but no offer has been made from either the Serie A side or Manchester United.
